I don't know anything about creating web sites, how involved to I have to be in the process of making my web site?

Many people ask this question. You do not need to know anything about web design to help create a great web site, all I need is your input. Such as how you want the site to look, what you want to say about your company, written material and how you want it organized.

 

Do you offer Flash web sites?

I am currently not offering any flash web sites. I believe that small flash elements can wake up and perk any web site when used correctly. Unfortunately it is often over used and can make some visitors annoyed.

 

Can I update my own web site?

After a web site is complete you will have full ownership over the site and can use it however you wish. 


I already have a web site and do not need a new one, but I would like to update my current site. Can you do this?

This depends on many factors.  Such as how clean the existing code is, accessibility to files and how organized they are.  In many cases it is much easier to re-create a new web site.  This is really a question that would have to be answered after viewing the existing web site’s files.

 

How long will it take to get my web site completed and online?

To create a professional looking web site takes usually 6-8 weeks.  The time period relies a lot on how well the client is prepared.  If clients have their material written, photos taken, and other details organized the site takes a fairly short period of time to put up. 

 

How long does it take to get my web site to appear in search engines like google and yahoo?

It takes a long time for a web site to appear on search engines, sometimes months. Meta tags are added to every site and help your web site appear on search engines to some degree, search engines do not rely on them as much because they can be easily abused.  The text on your web site is more important to the search engines.
